• What type of work do you undertake?

• Does Build Smart Group project manage the entire process?

Yes, we offer turnkey solutions taking all the stress out of the process. We firstly ascertain your problem and/or scope of work to determine any external consultants and all trades needed.  Then we work clearly and openly through the whole process. We will also try to save you money by considering / suggesting alternative solutions where appropriate.

• Do you offer architectural services?

Yes, we have very reasonably priced design and consent services (including resource consents) available.

• Will we need building and/or resource consent?

The rules surrounding consents are many and complex. We are usually able to quickly analyse projects to identify if consents are required. However, sometimes a town planner’s feasibility report may be needed for certainty which is another reasonably priced service we offer.

• What guarantees do you offer?

All our builders and contractors are licensed where required and covered by insurances. Build Smart Group Ltd carries $5 Million Public Liability plus contract insurance (when applicable). All materials are covered by the Consumer Guarantee Act. We can also offer an extended independent Insurance package (at additional cost) if required.

• Do you build outside the Auckland area?

Currently we are mainly focusing within the Greater Auckland area.

• Am I able to undertake / organize some of the work like painting or ... myself?

Yes, our flexible 'scopes of work' allow us to easily add, deduct or change the contract however we usually insist on undertaking all structural and work requiring licensed building practitioners ourselves.

• What if I want to change items to suit my budget?
